Healing Hearts Ministry
Bringing the healing touch of Jesus to wounded heartsStatement of Beliefs
As Christians, it is important for us to know what we believe, and what the fellowship that we attend teaches. These beliefs generally dictate how we worship, what we teach, how we pray, what ministries we get involved in, whether we have fellowship with other groups, etc.
The leadership of Healing Hearts Ministries have made available this Statement of Beliefs so that people who attend our Sunday morning fellowship, or others who support our various ministries, would know what we teach, and what we hold to be true.

Quotes
Mark 11:24
Remind yourself that God is with you and nothing can
defeat you. Believe that you now receive power from Him.
Norman Vincent Peale
You become a worrier by practising worry. You can become free of worry by practising the opposite and stronger habit of faith. With all the strength and perseverance you can command, start practising faith.
Our statement of beliefs
- We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
- We believe in the person of Satan and that his role on earth is to destroy the works of God and God's Church.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred both physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, causing them to sin in thought, word and deed.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Holy Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified solely on the ground of His shed blood.
- We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate.
- We believe in the blessed hope, the premillenial, imminent return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
- We believe that all who receive, by faith, the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit baptizes every believer once, at the moment of conversion and indwells him thereafter. We believe that each believer is filled with the Holy Spirit as he yields control of his life to Christ. We believe the evidence of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit is the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved.
- We believe in the Church, the bride of Christ; comprising the whole body of those who have been born of the Spirit; and its local expression established for worship, mutual edification and witness.
